Spotlight: KAPM’s Leadership Team

The Knights Association of Project Management (KAPM) is a student organization that focuses on offering learning and growth opportunities in project management. While KAPM membership is open to students from all majors at UCF, the organization has strong ties to the Integrated Business department with its advisors, Dr. Ghada Baz and Dr. David Penn, being Integrated Business faculty members.

This spring semester, the organization welcomed a new leadership team. We would like to recognize their leadership skills and initiative in their roles.

After kicking of the semester with a speaker event first speaker event featuring former KAPM President Peter Hernandez who is currently an Integrated Program Planner, and Bivil Thomas, a Project Management and Planning Operations Representative at Lockheed Martin, KAPM continues to engage with community leaders through speaker events and other various activities. In KAPM’s inaugural speaker event for the spring semester, Hernandez and Thomas provided valuable perspectives on their roles at Lockheed Martin, discussing project management best practices, strategic planning, and the skills needed to succeed in the field.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage in a dynamic Q&A session, gaining firsthand advice on navigating careers in project management and aerospace. This event was just the beginning of an exciting lineup for KAPM.
