Integrated Business Mentoring Program

12

The Integrated Business program is proud to offer an opportunity for students to be matched with a faculty mentor. This provides a chance for 1-on-1 conversations outside of the classroom setting. It’s not a part of any class and doesn’t count for extra credit.

Topics of conversation: Whatever you’re interested in. Career goals and planning? Budgeting? Finding a job or internship? Interviewing? Personal issues? Time management? Hobbies? Current events? Figuring out life?

You set the agenda. This is about you. There will not be a quiz!
Commitment: If you sign up and are matched with a faculty member, we ask for a minimum two semester commitment and at least one face-to-face meeting with your mentor each semester.

We hope you’ll meet a lot more!

How to apply: This is a voluntary program for students and for faculty. If you are interested in participating in the program, please complete the Qualtrics survey your instructor gave you a link for (it changes each semester) and be sure to select at least two of the available faculty members.

The chair of the Integrated Business department will match you with a faculty member and send an email to both of you, providing an introduction. It is as simple as that. Faculty member biographies: In the pages that follow, you will find short biographies for the faculty members who have agreed to participate in this program.
