IB High School Competition 2022

The Integrated Business Program at the University of Central Florida announces the 3rd Annual Integrated Business Case Challenge for High School Students, to be held on Friday, February 25th at the College of Business on the UCF campus.

High school students from Central Florida are invited to participate in a day long competition to work on team work, presentation, and goal setting skills with support from current UCF Integrated Business faculty and students. Whether students intend to major in business or are exploring other career options, they can practice some valuable skills while collaborating with a team to propose a solution to our case challenge.

High school teachers can participate in an interactive, professional development session with our Integrated Business faculty while the students work on the competition. The event will take place virtually on Friday February 25th from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm.

Our 2022 space is currently full.  High school groups interested in participating in future years can contact  UCF Instructor, Shelley Maccini at shelley.maccini@ucf.edu for more information.  Registration for 2023 will open in Fall 2022.

Here are several quotes from the 2021 IB student volunteers:

Grace Click, Judge and Logistics

Being on the judging panel for competition made me incredibly proud to be an IB major and excited for the future of this program. The students showed up prepared and executed with amazing confidence.

Katelin Bobbitt, Coach

I was so excited to be able to pass on information from when I competed in the IB Case Competition and to see the high schoolers use that information. The team I lead was so absolutely smart, and I am so proud of how they presented and took information from the day!

Michael Caro, Coach

It was a pleasure working with the high school students, they were very intelligent and willing to learn. The group I coached did amazing on their presentation

Ones Elian, Judge

The event is great because it not only helps the students to tackle business problems head on but also help us college students to be better leaders.

We are looking forward to our upcoming 2022 competition!
