The UCF College of Business’ 25th Hall of Fame celebration was a special day for the Integrated Business department. During this prestigious annual event, the College of Business honors outstanding inductees past and present.
This year, the College of Business recognized Integrated Business Advisory Board member and 2015 Hall of Fame inductee Jessica Blume ’80 with the Legendary Knight Award. This award recognizes outstanding contributions that transform teaching, research, and learning through extraordinary philanthropy and commitment to the College of Business.
Jessica, who is the former Vice Chairman of Deloitte, Board of Director member of Publix Super Markets, Inc. and Centene Corporation, has been one of the earliest and most impactful supporters of the Integrated Business program. Over the years, she contributed to curriculum development and refinement decisions, transforming classroom capabilities, providing students with access to technology resources inside and outside the classroom. She also provided guidance to many Integrated Business students as they embarked on their professional careers. In addition to her various contributions to the Integrated Business department, Jessica also serves on UCF’s Foundation Board, the College of Business Advisory Board.
Needless to say, the evening with filled with proud moments for the Integrated Business students and faculty who were in attendance as we joined in the celebration of Jessica’s impact on the college and the department over the years.
