The IB major the solution to the limited supply of talent on Midsize businesses

According to the Orlando Business Journal (OBJ) the number one challenge for Midsize business is the limited supply of talent. The IB program is a solution for this challenge because is designed to provide future business professionals with a diverse tool-set and integrative skills so that they can successfully navigate the volatile and challenging marketplace. Today’s student may go on to a career that comprises as many as six to eight jobs. They will work in several organizations and be required to manage a wide variety of programs across the business enterprise. If they stay here in Central Florida, a graduate will most likely work in small and mid-sized companies where the skills of a business “integrator” will be necessary and highly valued. As such, they will need a more robust and varied educational experience than most specialty degrees can offer.
