IB Internships: Where to Start

Written by Tiara Jimenez

Guide to Internship Search

If you are looking for an internship and don’t know where to start, you can try contacting Wes Russo through the Office of Professional Development. A lot of Business majors don’t even realize that he’s available to help them out. He can coach you through your internship search. He can also help you find a company that is the right for for you. One of the best things about him is that he will recommend students to partnering employers who are looking for someone who would be a good fit.

You can schedule an appointment with him by following these steps on my.ucf.edu:

Student Self Service > myKnightSTAR> Get Assistance > Select Advising -> CBA – Career and Grad School -> CBA-Explore Internships

If you already found an internship, but need help with the steps that follow, contact Sylecia Groover. As the internship coordinator, she can help you through the next steps to ensure that your internship experience counts for credit. To schedule an appointment with her, follow the same steps described above, except for the last one pick Internship Paperwork.

Good luck!
