Dr. Henry has earned a B.A. in psychology, English, and political science; an M.S. in industrial/organizational psychology; and a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis, all from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he lived from 1981 to 1993. Dr. Henry first earned his professional certification in human resource management in 1998 and renewed his SHRM-CP certification through the Society of Human Resource Management in 2016. As an educator, Dr. Henry has 29 years of experience serving as a professor and administrator in psychology departments and business schools at a wide variety of colleges and universities in the Eastern and Southern United States. As a consultant, he has worked with primarily small and medium-sized organizations in a wide variety of industries including municipal public works departments, plastic and metal-working factories, utility companies, and, most recently, police and fire departments.
